BEF makes funding decisions on a quarterly basis, as follows:

Q1: Applications received between 12/16 and 3/15
        Applicant notification on or before 6/30

Q2: Applications received between 3/16 and 6/15
        Applicant notification on or before 9/29

Q3: Applications received between 6/16 and 9/15
        Applicant notification on or before 12/28

Q4: Applications received between 9/16 and 12/15
        Applicant notification on or before 3/31

The nature of the project determines the specific application and funding process that you will need to go through. Projects fall into one of three categories:

For projects located in areas served by Cowlitz PUD, please consult the Cowlitz Guide to the Application Process.
For projects located in areas served by Puget Sound Energy, please consult the PSE Guide to the Application Process.
For school projects located in areas served by Idaho Power, please consult the Idaho Power Solar 4R Schools page. For all other projects located in areas served by Idaho Power, please consult the Guide to the Application Process.
For home solar projects we have developed the Solar Starters Coop.
For school solar projects we have developed the Solar 4R Schools program.
